1. Details: Blacktip Shark

    Quick trip to SLP with @fishn produced several sharks, whiting, gafftop, and hardheads. Caught finger mullet in the cast net, then worked our way up the food chain ...more to catch the sharks. Two sharks caught on whiting. The feisty blacktip pictured was caught on ladyfish.

  2. Fun morning at the beach with @SwampMafia and @lureking121. Finally caught my first shark of the year right at 61". Great run and we all thought it was much ...more bigger during the fight. Swells 2ft from the south east. Water was very sandy with the color change about 700 yards out. Bait was dropped at 7AM about 350 yards out. Shark hit at 11AM.

    Back the truck up, cast net some mullet, two minutes into the first cast this big 45" Jack screams off with the mullet. Great fight on my Avet MXL. Right inside ...more the first bar. Water is sandy and rough. Strong winds, overcast skies.

    Biggest of several chunks I caught this morning. 4.5 lbs on the Boga. Lost a 5+ when I tried to flip it onto the bank and it was hooked with only one treble. Oops ...more lol. Overcast skies, winds 10 mph from the north, water high and stained.

    Love catching them on top! Nothing big but caught 3 little chunks after sunset with this being the biggest about 2.5 lbs. All fish caught right on the bank, in 1 ...more FOW. Give the bait a couple twitches, then let it sit 5 seconds.

    Fishing with @bassingbassbone and I called him to come over where I was because I had just caught a few fish. As we were on the phone this nice 5lber slammed the ...more trap. Great fight and made a few jumps. Casting parallel to the bank in 1-3 fow. Water is a little high and stained from all the rain.

    Fun few hours this morning with @fishn. Found some prespawn females staging, and used a TX rig to catch those, then got into some fish on windy banks on the trap. ...more 15 green flounder base fish between the two of us. Most were 2-4 lbs.
