      I love asends but they are pugs in the water so for your size I would go with something thiner maybe a perception they have a better shaped hull.

      It's a good kayak. But for you, it may handle like a boat. You're very light. If you never kayaked before, I suggest renting before you buy. It'll ...more help get what you need, and not waste money

      You need to check your local classifieds or craigslist. For 350 you can probably get a good used ocean kayak or wilderness systems tarpon for that price. Maybe a ...more little more. Stay away from sit ins.

      my honest opinion , stay away from pelicans if its for saltwater fishing. i have one and regret not spending the extra money for an ascend from bass pro shop.
