1. Details: Gulf Flounder with a H&H Cocahoe Minnow - Plum Chartreuse

From yesterday morning. Brutal wind conditions, definitely not kayak friendly. Water was at about <1ft visibility max and white capping. The water was cold, ...more so I focused in areas with mud. Spent more time battling the wind than fishing. Had to throw in the towel after 4 hours, as it was getting worse.

It's been very very long since I've fished the surf. Good luck to all others.

  7. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Gold Spoon

I was using a gold spoon as a search bait. It really seemed they wanted the gold spoon more than the soft plastics. Lots of fish, but very few keeper size

This was the biggest red. But just an inch short. Despite the small size, it packed a lot of muscle. Stripped slot of drag.

  8. Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a TTF Flats Killer

Launched at 7 am today. There was lots of bait in the bay. Visibility was about a foot. I would find a few rat reds here and there over mud and shell. There ...more were mainly hanging around the cuts in the reefs.

  9. Happy Independence Day to all. Good luck to all casting lines tomorrow.

@matt small incoming tide in the morning with winds out of the south at 10-15 knots. But I'm more concerned just getting to the water. It's been too long
    2. Matt Dobson 0

  10. Details: Guadalupe Bass with a H20 Squarebill Crankbait

This one was the best Guad. River bass sure got more muscle than lake bass. Must be from fighting currents
