1. Fun day with @Adriang523 on the Bird! This was the only one I caught at 4 lbs 11oz. She was sitting a little off the bank and I dropped the worm right in front of ...more her and she snatched it! Wind was terrible today but we managed!

So this wasn't today then. Doesn't matter, just don't go tmrw morning. ;) A buddy and I were out Saturday and did OK once I figured out how to work around ...more the grass.
    2. Demo_swag 0
Idk about that it. there were a lot of kayakers out that day @michang5
    3. michang5 0
Good fish in tough conditions. I read that they closed the lake to recreational watercraft until tomorrow (Monday) at noon?

  3. Fun day with @Adriang523 and @fishintexas_33. Me and Grady were able to double up on 2 separate beds and I pulled out this 5 pound female and he pulled out this ...more 2. I got it right into her face so she would bite it. Then I spent the next hour in the water trying to get my bait unstuck from the bottom.

  4. Lady bird lake gave up a monster for me today. 12 pounds 6 oz (I scaled her twice) and a big belly. Less than a pound away from the lake record. This fish fought ...more like no other. Caught her in about 10fow next to some brush in my kayak. Don't worry I didn't keep her the bucket was just so I could get better pics without stressing her. Big thanks to John and tanner as well or helping me.

Yea lady bird has lots of good bank fishing spots you can go up and down barton creek along the trail, under the mopac and congress bridge and along the lake trail ...more @keexvision
    3. keexvision 0
I don't have a kayak, do you think I can still catch bass like this? If so, are there any good spots where you don't need a kayak?
    4. Tim Knecht 0

    13. I'm brand new to Austin. How do we turn in a sharedlunker if you do grab anything above 13lbs
    14. Richie Pusateri 0
Sweet man. Too bad it wasn't a Sharelunker. You were 11 oz shy of the current lake record too

    21. michang5 0
Nice improvisation! I bet the bucket brigader was licking his chops while you were using his bucket. ;)
    22. Demo_swag 0
The fish was able to fit sideways for the most part but it's head was downwards. @michang5
    23. Demo_swag 0
Out going back and forth with the scales and pictures we used the bucket. @michang5
    24. Demo_swag 0
When I caught it I was by myself so i couldn't get a good picture and I wanted to scale her with 2 different scales. So when my fiends came to not lose the fish ...more in the lake and to not stress it
    25. michang5 0
How did the bucket play a role in the fish care? Did you stick its head inside with tale sticking out? Not asking to open you up to criticism (in fact, it could ...more be brilliant). Really am curious.
    26. txtroutklr 0
Nicely done! Get a fiberglass repro done, you won't regret it. I had fish scale taxidermy do my 12-10 & love it!! Again congrats on the fish of a lifetime!!!

  7. Fun day on the water with @maxjacoby14 on his new boat. Caught this bass pushing 5lbs flipping the docks next to 360 and Max also caught a nice guad doing the same ...more thing. We got a late start at about 10 with overcast skies and I caught a 2lber on a swimbait then we ended up flipping the rest of the day which produced this fish.

  8. Caught this decent 2 pound bass a little past sunset on the lizard fishing the grass line in barton creek. Days are getting colder and shorter and the bass are starting ...more to move into barton and gorge on bait as you can tell by how fat the fish is. Just a few more weeks and barton will be on fire.

  9. Fun day/night of fishing with @Adriang523. I was able to catch 3 bass a 3 a 1 and then this 4.5 lb chunk. I was working my worm in about 10 FOW hopping off the bottom ...more and letting it sit a bit. Caught all the fish at dusk till 11. Little to no wind until later that night which kinda made it cold.

  10. Fun day of fishing with @Adriang523. Caught a bunch of dinks and a few 1.5 pounders on a spoon and a triged worm. Missed a bunch as we'll but I was able to land ...more this chunk guad which I'm guessing was 2 or 2.5 lbs In about 10 FOW by the dam. started fishing at 4 and finished around 11 with the fish still biting. 5-10 mph winds and 100* weather at redbud.

    6. RyanEllis 0
You can tell how big a fish is even if they hold it out. Look at his hands... You can judge a fish just by that. That's a really nice guad. @whitebass_81

      Haha @atxflyfishing
