It's amazing how just one fish can change your day! It was a slow day on Decker. The normal stuff didn't work....so I started to throw everything I had. ...more I finally felt a thump on a t-rigged plastic worm. I set the hook and I knew it was a nice one! It went 24" and 8.5lbs. I stuck with the t-rigged plastics and boated two more that were 15" and 16".

Spent a couple hours on Decker before the rain rolled in. Landed two 5 pound hogs working the fluke along the reeds on Decker.

@matfeo Its been a while. I sold it earlier this year. I wanted to keep it...but I don't have the room in my garage. I saw your new yak...good looking rig!

Lake Bastrop was fairly good today. Caught them all with a hollow body frog while throwing as deep into the reeds as possible.

Lake Bastrop was on fire this weekend! I witnessed some serious hate crimes against my frog. Check out the video: http://youtu.be/fkdR5g8GTXw

  6. Details: Largemouth Bass with a Frog

Lake Bastrop was good this weekend! I had 10 total and this one was the biggest. I got this one and several others on the frog...the others were on a jig or t-rig ...more plastics. It was good to see the fish biting...cause most of them were pretty skinny.

  7. What are these black spots? Does anyone know?

  8. This weekend on LA was fun! I ended up with 7 total....spinnerbait, jig, and frog were the most successful for me! This one was the biggest. It felt good after a ...more tough winter on LA!

@jackmawer ... I used the frog when the sun was coming up. It was not a big one...but I was walking it out from under a dock in very clear water so I got to see ...more the entire strike.

What time of day were you using the frog?

  9. "After" pictures of my Bass Tracker rebuild. I extended the casting deck and put in all new wiring. I used aluminum decking (except the rear casting deck) ...more to keep the weight down. I documented most of it on YouTube.... http://youtu.be/brv9Dn8PlSY
