This tarpon was from early August and during this part of the year, most of the larger tarpon have moved out so we were using light rods with 10 lb test to have ...more a good fight for some 40-50 pounders. Hooked up into this fish at 9:30 and after towing our boat 5 1/2 miles it broke the line at 2:40 in the afternoon. 5 hours and ten minutes later and this 100 lb fish won the battle.

Caught this huge Dusky shark yesterday while fishing offshore. We were at the Islamorada Hump and decided to drop an eight pound Blackfin Tuna 500 feet down to the ...more bottem. Two minutes later this beast latched on and fought for about twenty minutes. Turned out to be nine feet long and about 275 pounds! Catch of a lifetime for sure!

Trolling a feather around Islamorada Hump and picked up around 25 Blackfin Tuna, some Skipjack Tuna, a Bonita, and a 250 lb Dusky shark!

Got to hand feed the Tarpon today at Robbie's Marina. It was awesome got some bites on my hand but it was worth it!
