    2nd day and oh boy we had a blast. This sucker weighed in at 2.27 kilograms equivalent to 5 pounds. Hëll of a fight. Sadly it's our last day fishing here. ...more But I will never forget today. We had to deal w 20 or more mph winds but we stuck through it and wow what a great result. Tight lines everyone!!

    So day one was a success!! This brownie weighed in at 2 kilograms. My brother caught one about the same size also. Exciting day. Tomorrows our last day fishing up ...more here and we're pumped. Can't wait for tomorrow. Trying to go for a nice 3 kg one but chances are slim since these are small creeks that hold trouts about this size, rarely bigger. We'll see though. Tight lines!

    Had a slow morning. Fished from 8-12 with @topwater_pro we got this double header. Only fish today. Hoped the neighborhood pond would've worked like yesterday. ...more This pond has its days! The one on the left was 2 lbs and the one on the right was about a pound or so. Funny day! Fish on!

    Had a good afternoon. Caught this and 3 other bass. One of them was 2 and a half pounds. Nice evening. Neighborhood pond is producing even more now. Can't wait ...more for spawning season!! Have a good evening people and fish on!!

    Went to lake Conroe this morning and nothing. No fish, for four whole hours. only a dead bass that looked to get bitten by something. Maybe a bird or so. Back to ...more the fish. Went to a backyard pond that has nice fighting bass. I casted near some bricks and she hit it hard. Not a long fight because it was close to where I was.Caught at around 7:30 pm with another bass the next cast. Very good weather

    Details: Golden Shiner

    Casting close/ under the tree. She hit it pretty hard. first ever golden shiner. nice but slow day, fished for 4 hours and a total of 23 baby sunfish, 1 bluegill, ...more and a 5.7 lb catfish (pictures aren't on my phone) pretty good day in the heat.

      Hate to be a downer for you, but that is not a Carp but rather a Golden Shiner. Still, even though your quest for carp continues, sounds like you had a good day!
