Went to lake Conroe this morning and nothing. No fish, for four whole hours. only a dead bass that looked to get bitten by something. Maybe a bird or so. Back to the fish. Went to a backyard pond that has nice fighting bass. I casted near some bricks and she hit it hard. Not a long fight because it was close to where I was.Caught at around 7:30 pm with another bass the next cast. Very good weather
