  2. Selling my Ascend FS12T. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. I put non slip floor grips in and a standing assist rope in. Also comes with the paddle and wheels. Asking ...more 500$. The kayak retails for 550$ but it has roughly 80$ in rope and non slip floor and over 100$ in paddle and wheels. Willing to meet around San Antonio and will be in Austin this weekend. Thanks and tight lines!

  5. finally got my new ascend fs12t out on the water yesterday. it's slow but it extremely stable!

    1. Jon Evans 0
Good call @michang5 thanks for the response
    2. michang5 0
@snapjon : Very worth the $8-10. They get in the way of the line sometimes, but I've dropped rods in the water twice (once last Sat) and they float right up. ...more I got mine after Kev almost lost his rod.
    3. SaFisher5 0
      Heck yeah buddy!
    4. outlaw54813 0
ya they are little rod floaties lol. I got them at bass pro but I think academy has them too.
    5. Jon Evans 0
I'm a bit of a newbie, so pardon the dumb question... but are those pads on your poles to keep them from sinking? ...if so, did you make em or buy em?
    6. Chris Skinner 0
Haha such a crazy day on the water! Had fun though!
    7. splitlip 0
I love mine. I've had it for 2 yrs now. And yes it's very stable. @outlaw54813

  6. any recommendations on kayaks? looking for a reasonably priced solid yak.

    1. nowling 0
Find a used Jackson big tuna
    2. King_Fisher 0
I would check out either Asend or willderness systems.
    3. crookcody19 0
Yeah I'd still look at the wilderness systems ride 115 it'll save you money and is I think the best kayak for rivers and lakes
    4. outlaw54813 0
I like the acsend, also have been looking at the feel free lure 10. $1000 but has a lot of cool features
    5. crookcody19 0
Pricey but some of the best yaks. If you need cheaper ones I'd look at acsend, or pelicans which run around 400 but aren't as good.
    6. crookcody19 0
Or if your looking for more speed you can get a tarpon 120 which will be easier to paddle but carries less weight and is a little more unstable. It cost 930 dollars. ...more But these are again a little
    7. crookcody19 0
I'd look at the wilderness systems ride 115 which runs around 885 dollars. Very stable and durable kayak. Hold up to 500 pounds of gear which in my mind is more ...more than anyone will every need.
    8. outlaw54813 0
      lakes and rivers
    9. outlaw54813 0
      less than 1000$
    10. crookcody19 0
And what type of water, ocean, river, lake?
    11. crookcody19 0
      Price range?
