finally got my new ascend fs12t out on the water yesterday. it's slow but it extremely stable!

  @snapjon : Very worth the $8-10. They get in the way of the line sometimes, but I've dropped rods in the water twice (once last Sat) and they float right up. ...more I got mine after Kev almost lost his rod.

  ya they are little rod floaties lol. I got them at bass pro but I think academy has them too.

  I'm a bit of a newbie, so pardon the dumb question... but are those pads on your poles to keep them from sinking? ...if so, did you make em or buy em?

  I love mine. I've had it for 2 yrs now. And yes it's very stable. @outlaw54813
