  7. Details: Coastal Cutthroat Trout with a Double dry fly rig. Drake on top and PMD on bottom.

Family friend of ours caught this two weeks ago on the Gunnison river outside Crested Butte, CO. Best story, he caught a 10inch trout and was working it in when ...more this monster clobbered it. Not sure of this fish broke any records, I'll update when I find out. The fly fishing during the hatch on the Gunnison was so fun this year, water levels were on point and wasn't too murky.

..regionally called "Speckled Trout" as well. Either way, that beast there is a Cutbow, which is a hybrid between Cutthroat Trout and Rainbow Trout. Brook ...more Trout (the one you call Speckled) look..
    23. Chuck LaBruna 0
@scoopdaloop Haha, no prob. Yeah Speckled (or Spotted) Trout are saltwater fish and actually aren't even a trout species at all. I know where you are getting ...more that from though. Brook Trout are also...
    24. Chuck LaBruna 0
@scoopdaloop Haha, I hear ya. Yes, Speckled (or Spotted)

    27. Chuck LaBruna 0
