    One of the nicer fish from the nice creature bait bite i had going in my canal about two weeks ago. Went to my canal see if i could catch a couple and ended up catching ...more 20 at about 12 inches each and one nice 2lb 12oz football and this 2lber. I was simply walking the bank and casting along the bank at points and loops basically for spots where a bass would hide. Cast past the point, real in slow.

      They would either nail it right when you swam it past the point or when you're reeling back in towards you. Fun spinning tackle. 👍🏻

    Went speckled trout fishing with @redfisher98 the other day. Started the morning fishing topwater and couldn't produce bites. Moved to the bridge and started ...more jigging plastics. Picked up this nice 22 inch, 3lb 5oz flounder. Also caught 3 trout and @redfisher98 caught 4 on matrix and vortex Shad. Trout are in the 12 to 15 inch range and moving in pairs rather than schools, so covering water is key.

    Caught 5 bass including the 2 pounder on the left and a big chiclid. Let the clouser Minnow sink to the bottom and do medium to fast stripes but with longer pauses.

    Caught 7 bass with @TOBrien in west esplanade canal yesterday. Casting along the bank to find the big ones and working the middle for schoolies. The biggest was ...more this one at 2lb . Saw a lot of carp so we'll probably go out for those today and maybe some gar ( we also caught a 2 foot gar yesterday). Everything was caught on Lemonhead and magneto Matrix Shad.

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a Zoom baby brush hog (baby bass color) 4/0 EWG and 1/8 ounce worm weight

    Fishing beds today with @redfisher98. He caught a 1lb 5oz male on a speed craw and lost a 4 pound female. All other fish were males including this 3lb 14oz (new ...more PB) and a 2lb. All of them were on speed craws and baby brush hogs. Alot of the bass would spook at first but once you tossed in a couple times they would take it. Patience is the key and remember to use a bait that will threaten the bed

Moved towards the waterfall and ...more casted along the bank at a some brush and she slammed it right as it passed up the brush. She was barely hooked. First fish on the ultralight and new PB👍 3.9 pounds

      Very nice fish. Although on bigger fish like that and all fish in general try to support the tail when you cock their head back like that. It can cause long term ...more damage to the jaw and spine

      I think that's either a Calico Bass or a Spotted Bay Bass. Don't know why one is in Louisiana. They are usually caught in the Pacific Ocean
