  Do you have another picture of it. It would be easier to judge at a different angle. It does look a lot like a spotted bay bass but I don't know what it's ...more doing over here on this side of the U.S.

  I think that's either a Calico Bass or a Spotted Bay Bass. Don't know why one is in Louisiana. They are usually caught in the Pacific Ocean
