  2. this big boy pulled like there's no tomorrow. I'm am saltwater guy. when I pulled this up. I totally forgot I was fishing freshwater. look like bait lol.

  3. People keep calling us to come out. Got there late. Around 5 pm due to errands. water was great and it's like glass. No wave. bait were running near cast net ...more distance. No small Mack today. All were 20" above and very fat. manage to hook 15 Macks between my dad and I. dad lost an king. But it's an great 2 hours fishing. People still pulling up fat Macks when we left.

      @fishin_boyz use live shrimp.. fillet mullet or whole under an bobber/cork. sometime they eat far and sometime they eat near. silver spoon work great to.

So his birthday is coming ...more up so might as well gave that reel to him as a birthday gift. Went out and bought myself another high end reel. Shimano Stella 6000. weight nearly the same as an 5000. time to get her some line. This week the weather is great. Perfect

  7. After many years of using $40 spinning reels. Decided to treat myself to something nice on the spinning reel side. Can't wait to head out the water!

      I have a fj 5000. I put some bearings in the handle and carbon drag washers. Love it! Also got a ci4+ 3000 with some extra bearings and carbon washers for the drag. ...more Best spinning reel drag ever! IMO

      @fishkrzy yes sir. I clean them when ever I get home. oil when need and do breakdown clean every few months whenever they need em. currently fishing for mack and ...more trout since they are still running.
