    After many years of using $40 spinning reels. Decided to treat myself to something nice on the spinning reel side. Can't wait to head out the water!

      In the price range of course... Up there with 5/600 dollar reels with about 50 bucks of upgrades .

      I have a fj 5000. I put some bearings in the handle and carbon drag washers. Love it! Also got a ci4+ 3000 with some extra bearings and carbon washers for the drag. ...more Best spinning reel drag ever! IMO

      Don't get the fj. It's heavy. Stradic is age way reel

      @fishkrzy yes sir. I clean them when ever I get home. oil when need and do breakdown clean every few months whenever they need em. currently fishing for mack and ...more trout since they are still running.

      @4x4Active you will love the reel. Just oil it every other use and clean it religiously. What type of fishing do you do?
