A little night time trout fishing. Greenish water. Fishing a "hidden spot"... Caught about 60 specks working tandem rigs in the lights. Very nice night, ...more 82 degrees, 8 mph S winds.
Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a H&H sparkle beetle. Clear/Chart tail x2 on tandem rig w/ 1/8oz jig heads.

Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Different artificials
Caught 6 keeper specks, 1 keeper flounder, and a few sand trout to see if I liked em or not... Was my first time trying sand trout, and I have to say they're ...more not bad. I immediately iced em, then cleaned them as soon as I got home and cooked right afterwards. Was told they get mushy if you freeze them...idk. They tasted very similar to specks to me though...

Details: Largemouth Bass with a Tequila bloodline curly tailed ringworm, weightless
Caught 9 LM fishing different worms weightless in 6-10 ft of heavily stained water @ 90-92 degrees. All fish were full already from feeding all night the evening ...more before during the full moon... Had to slow the presentation down a lot and fish weightless to get bites..

My 1st kayak was a pelican castaway 116 and I loved it...!!! Got some good memories and some good fish in that boat. Yeah, there is a difference in a cheaper kayak ...more and a high end kayak, but at the end

He loves it. He had to do a little bit of resealing on a couple of the hatches, but nothing major. He stands and fishes in it. Plenty of room to rig it out, and ...more carry a lot of gear.. @sc_outdoorsman
