1. Anybody have a fishing report? We got a high school tourney coming up Saturday and I kinda need to know where to start in practice Friday

    1. John Fitch 0
Let your fish finder tell you what depth they are in or where the bait fish are. Fish change day to day hell even hour to hour. That's what's so nice about ...more Fishidy when you catch a fish log it right then and there and make sure you include as much info as you can weather, time, barometric pressure, lunar cycle, etc. That way you can go back to a certain situations and it might point you to a good place to start looking for fish. Like many animals fish are creatures of habit and instinct use that to our advantage.
    2. Shawn Gearinger 0
I like the Strike King KVD square bills, I use all the sizes in the shad patterns. Silver and black, silver and blue work the the best for me.
    3. Terry Pattarozzi 0
What's a good square bill crank bait to use?
    4. Cody Ross 0
You can you just can't offer any kind of payment for them, I appreciate it well try out deeper than what we've been doing before.
    5. Larry Mosby 0
I don't think you're allowed to get tips for high school tournaments you'll be disqualified
    6. Shawn Gearinger 0
Before this cold spell hit I was catching some on square bill crank baits out in 10 to 16 foot, off main lake points. They should have moved deeper after this front ...more and cold temps. Good luck!

  4. This is the reel I was talking about in the comments on your pic about a bass fishing reel

    1. eastonsutley 0
I fish big ponds from the bank mainly, so it's a huge deal for me especially with little baits. @AllWaterLife
    2. AllWaterLife 0
That'll happen with any reel that doesn't get cleaned though. I don't get concerned with casting distance @eastonsutley. As long as I can cast 30 yards ...more across my bayou or a marsh I'll be fine
    3. eastonsutley 0
My buddy's lews is starting to grind but he doesn't clean it. And my sx casts little shad raps as far as my other buddy's core! @AllWaterLife
    4. AllWaterLife 0
I'd never go Revo unless it was one of their more expensive reels @eastonsutley. Lew's reels are the best for the buck out right now.
    5. eastonsutley 0
@AllWaterLife I'm a Abu guy but hate seeing other reels fail. The g series really disappointed me with the plastic drag star. A $160 reel should not have that. ...more That's why I went with a revo
    6. AllWaterLife 0
The G series was a disappointment, and nothing more. Glad I got an older model. Hopefully shimano comes through with these new reels though @eastonsutley. Sorry ...more for stealing your post @codywross 😁
    7. eastonsutley 0
My $20 Shakespeare agility held up to salt and sand while casting umbrella rigs of the beach. So I agree. @AllWaterLife
    8. AllWaterLife 0
Any $160 dollar reel should hold up in any conditions with proper cleaning. @eastonsutley
    9. eastonsutley 0
@AllWaterLife yeah might want to invest in a saltwater baitcaster
    10. AllWaterLife 0
I took it in saltwater a lot @eastonsutley. Even though I completely rinsed it every time.. Idk what happened with that reel
    11. eastonsutley 0
      I love my revos
    12. eastonsutley 0
@AllWaterLife they are supposed to be a "make up" reel for the g series. I'm surprised you g has problems though my friends have them and they haven't ...more broke yet. I only own a Shimano spinning reel
    13. AllWaterLife 0
Hm that's interesting @eastonsutley. Hope they don't go in the same direction they were going in with the G7's
    14. eastonsutley 0
@AllWaterLife ohh I though you meant the old curado E's and no the new curado I series just released. Looks like a light gray/blue ci4+ though.
    15. AllWaterLife 0
Nah bro the guy gave me a Chronarch. 😳 and you mean the CI4's @eastonsutley? They look freakin awesome. But their price tag doesn't..
    16. eastonsutley 0
You mean downgraded @AllWaterLife haha jk the E's and way better but older. You seen the new ones yet (curado I)?
    17. AllWaterLife 0
      Good to hear @redfisher98
    18. AllWaterLife 0
Curado G's suck @eastonsutley. Had a Curado 200G7 for 6 months and it done broke. Just turned it in and got upgraded to the E series though.
    19. Jacob DeRamus 0
@AllWaterLife I have fished with it many times in saltwater without a problem. The drag is great on it.
    20. Jacob DeRamus 0
Lew's reels are amazing I love mine
    21. Robert Bandy 0
They don't last. I won't get in an argument about the junk. Not worth my time. Levelwind as anti reverse go out and can't handle abuse.
    22. Reel_Smooth 0
@codywross this is a great reel, and probably one of the best at that price point. Would recommend this reel to anyone. My cousin has this one and she loves it.
    23. Reel_Smooth 0
Out perform them in strength @Bandy
    24. Reel_Smooth 0
And my Garcias are better then Lews. They cast better and the main thing that sucks about Lews is their drag system. I use my reels in salt and pull some monster ...more drum and bull reds, and my Garcias
    25. Reel_Smooth 0
@Bandy i wouldn't say Abu is trash next to Lews. I own both Lews And Abu's. Lews makes a great reel and will never take that away from them. My two favorite ...more reels are Lews and Abu.
    26. cuonger 0
Lews all day I have 2 and love them
    27. Robert Bandy 0
Abu Garcia are trash compared to lews. I've noticed on here they're a ton or people who buy that junk and I dunno why.levelwind and anti reverse go out quick. ...more All I own are lews. Great reels!
    28. eastonsutley 0
Can get a curado g for $130 though the made a new one so they and clearancing them out.
    29. eastonsutley 0
      It's a great reel for 100. My buddy's grinds a little though.
    30. Isaac Carey 0
I don't like the grips on it
    31. Josh Parker 0
      the future** good choice brother
    32. Josh Parker 0
I think it's hands down THE BEST reel u can get for under $100! although I will be investing in their higher end reels in their future... great company, GREAT ...more PRODUCT!
    33. King_Fisher 0
      I've heard there awesome!
    34. RyanEllis 0
      Great reel
    35. OhioFish 0
Get a Abu Garcia Black Max 2, vengeance combo it's amazing
    36. AllWaterLife 0
Awesome reel. Have not had any problems with it so far. Taking it to the salt this weekend though
