Details: Spotted (Speckled) Trout with a Chartreuse tidal surge

Stumbled across a nice school of trout while fishing in poc. Caught about 15 but only 6 keepers ranging from 15-19inches. Fished the day before only caught 1 keeper ...more red and stuck the boat. But still had a blast. Anyone out of port o'connor?

  I have that same reel and had the same problem when I tried fluorocarbon. I prefer powerpro braid with the fluoro or mono backing I haven't gotten a nest with ...more braid I couldn't get undone so far.

  @Casting22Major the thing about polymer line like monofilament or fluorocarbon is they have too much line memory to be spooled on such a small reel like a baitcaster ...more so the line will implode out

Caught this guy at lakeside on Monday. We had a heck of a day fishing large mouths caught about 15/20 all around 2-4lbs. But I happened to catch this guy and I have ...more only caught 2 before this and don't really know anything about them besides there name. Info?

Just had an amazing trip floundering in Port o'connor texas. Captain jaremy helms made it easy and fun and if you ever have a chance i highly recommend going ...more with him. We went 2 nights each we limited out before 12:30 witch is really good .
