Friend and I took the kids out today. Sunny skies,10mph nw winds 63* air temp warmest water found was 58*. Caught several this size today "2-3lb" buck ...more bass in 5-10' of water holding close to or on rocks. Fish today were very softly picking up the bait. Some were grabbing the tail resulting in a few missed fish. Once I realized that I let the hold it longer before setting the hook.

86* water temp clear, skies , and hot!fishing grass points and flipping the jig. Fish hit it after I pulled it from grass.

Caught fish at wheeler branch yesterday. Threw the jig x all day. Windy,overcast skies fishing in 15-30fow. Lake is clear with about 7' visibility. I fish this ...more hopping off the bottom with 5-10 second pauses between hops through grass and structure.

Frog bite all day at Athens and putris creek .fished Athens until lunch then Purtis creek. Throwing around all the new structure and flooded grass from recent rains. ...more Both lakes are up a foot. This fish misses the frog so I threw back in with my Texas rig. After missed strikes always follow up with a worm. This is why. 80* air 77* water temp no clouds 1-2mph wind. High pressure.

It was my first time @jugg it's a very shallow lake. Had a good time though. A lot of buck bass. It's catch and release only. I want to go back. The storm ...more messed them up I think. Still pretty good.
