    Caught a 14 lb milt leaking male common carp in the 82 degree Millstone River this evening with ShopRite canned whole kernel corn on a #4 gold hook. It picked up ...more the bait then swam away very fast late in the day. Made a long run downriver. Big piles of moss kept getting stuck in the tip of my rod. I stopped reeling many times in order to remove the moss from my line. Took lots of pics. Gave the fish to Tony in the parking lot when I left. Landed 34 carp this year including 5 in the past three days from the Millstone River.

      No, I only fish the Millstone near the dam in Plainsboro and West Windsor. It’s loaded with moss now. I only caught a turtle there on my last trip.

      Awesome battle. I need to have a carp road ready when bass fishing. I always see 20-50 pounders.
