Caught a 14 lb milt leaking male common carp in the 82 degree Millstone River this evening with ShopRite canned whole kernel corn on a #4 gold hook. It picked up the bait then swam away very fast late in the day. Made a long run downriver. Big piles of moss kept getting stuck in the tip of my rod. I stopped reeling many times in order to remove the moss from my line. Took lots of pics. Gave the fish to Tony in the parking lot when I left. Landed 34 carp this year including 5 in the past three days from the Millstone River.
