  6. Details: Brown Trout with a Green eggs, midges, and San Juan worms.

Managed to get on one of the first float trips on the Gunnison. Water flow was pretty low and murky, but I still managed to boat 10 nice sized browns. I had around ...more 5 spit the hook and for some reason it seemed like those were the biggest.

    1. RyanEllis 0
Was on the gunnison yesterday too. Caught a few decent sized Browns.

  8. Details: Coastal Cutthroat Trout with a Double dry fly rig. Drake on top and PMD on bottom.

Family friend of ours caught this two weeks ago on the Gunnison river outside Crested Butte, CO. Best story, he caught a 10inch trout and was working it in when ...more this monster clobbered it. Not sure of this fish broke any records, I'll update when I find out. The fly fishing during the hatch on the Gunnison was so fun this year, water levels were on point and wasn't too murky.
