    Details: Bowfin

    My first ever bowfin I believe. Was bass fishing in some local ponds and all of a sudden I saw him come right up to the bank. Thought it was a catfish at first but ...more I reeled in and worked my worm in front of him. He turned towards it and ate it. He still sat there and didn't move. I finally set the hook and got him on. Before I went to pick it up I saw it was a bowfin and made sure not to lip him😂

    Not the best pic but still a pic. We found a new spot thats great. We have fished it 3 days in a row and caught 17 reds 3 trout and missed a ton 6 black drum and ...more a monster sheephead.
