My first ever bowfin I believe. Was bass fishing in some local ponds and all of a sudden I saw him come right up to the bank. Thought it was a catfish at first but I reeled in and worked my worm in front of him. He turned towards it and ate it. He still sat there and didn't move. I finally set the hook and got him on. Before I went to pick it up I saw it was a bowfin and made sure not to lip him😂
