another pig pulled out around the same area as the last big one. 6'6 mh ugly stick with quantum spinning reel on 12# mono line. was bouncing it along the ...more bottom then letting it pause every few hops then WHAM she shmacked it. Set the hook the best I could and the fight was on drag screaming along with a couple jumps as we went back and forth for a solid 2-3 LONG minutes. really need a scale

  2. Details: Largemouth Bass

Abu Garcia Blackmax reel/Abu Garcia Vendetta 6' m rod. 12# suffix mono. 3/16 oz shaky head hook w/ watermelon candy red zoom Brush Hog. crawling and twitching ...more on the bottom and she nailed it and took me for a ride. and I will say I don't think I have ever set the hook so good in my life and it couldn't have came at a better time cause I landed a new PERSONAL BEST!!

  3. Details: Largemouth Bass

my abu Garcia blackmax/vendetta combo, 12 lb mono. bouncing off the bottom off a deep point. tap tap then let it RIP!!!

  4. Details: Largemouth Bass

took pops fish for his first time in 10 years! looks like he's still got it! 7' mh h2O express w/concept carbon fiber 6:3:1. just bouncing the green ...more w/ white belly yum dinger off the bottom. caught about 10 total yesterday and this was the only picture worthy.

  8. Details: Largemouth Bass with a zoom 8in lizard pumpkin green on 1/8oz shakey head jig head with 4/0 hook.

stained water, twitching a couple times and letting it sit about every 5 seconds, fishing it on the edges of the weeds. surprised i got one even this big because ...more I'm pretty sure they just finished one last little spawn so the bite is about half of what it usually is and I could tell just fighting every female that I did catch that they were just drained

  9. Details: Bull Shark with a live mullet

same as last blert. water was like that almost all last week. birds were working hard on the slicks on and off all day... threw everything we had at them in hopes ...more of slaying specs or anything but nothing. ended being just a lot of baby Spanish mackerel

    1. ar0000 0
bull sharks and lemons look alike but the lemon shark has two long dorsal fins.
    2. ar0000 0
a black tip shark has a little black tip on the dorsal fin and its head is pointyer than a bull shark.
    3. nick_doudican12 0
looked at some pics, I can definitely tell the difference now. my bad bruhthers my first sharks, rookie mistake
    4. Christian Somerville 0
If I'm not mistaken, you can tell by the short, stubby head. Lots of sharks have black tips on their fins, especially when they're young.
    5. nick_doudican12 0
I'm not saying your wrong it's a serious question?
    6. nick_doudican12 0
Then why were the tips black???
    7. ar0000 0
      thats a nice bull shark

  10. Details: Lemon Shark with a live mullet

this past weekend when the water was almost perfect like it has been for the past week, but no jack or bull reds like our time before but just a few sharks. absolutely ...more no spec action at all from daybreak to 10:00 after trying everything. all the slicks ended up being schools of baby Spanish mackerel.

    1. nick_doudican12 0
preciate it bruhthers, learned something new, those were also my first sharks so that explains why my knowledge is slim lol.
    2. fishingmatt 0
Almost every young shark has black tips. That's a lemon, cool fish
    3. Gunner Newberry 0
Seems like every shark in the water has black tips under pec fins. I used to think the same thing.
    4. nick_doudican12 0
so lemon sharks have black tips too?
    5. j_reyes 0
      lemon
    6. ar0000 0
