Haven't posted in a while but that doesn't mean I haven't been fishing. Bought some yum minnows to test out on the new Duckett rod. First cast caught ...more a 7-8 pound blue catfish , kindof disappointed to see it wasn't a bass. Caught this fella right after . Reeling in quickly, 70 degrees , 4 fow visibility, the chaurtreuse on the tail works great in clear water as well as murky water.

  4. Details: White Crappie with a Yum Baby Bass Dinger on 1/4 Oz Size 4 Hook Screw Lock Jighead

Fishing for bass, bouncing it off the bottom by rocks looking for a nest. All of a sudden I thought I was caught so I yanked up and out came this guy, perfectly ...more hooked on the mouth.

Slowly reeling it in around some rocks and matts, with short pauses and bumping the swimbait into rocks when I could. Caught 5 this way in 30 minutes before the ...more sun set. Remember to set the hook hard!

    1. allennnnn_ 0
I lost 2 by not setting the hook hard enough. Also keep an eye on your line like with a jig, they don't always inhale the swimbait, alot of times theyll swim ...more off with it barely gripping it.

    1. allennnnn_ 0
@amassie Yes it usually is after it rains, the mud goes into the water, especially in small creeks/bayous. I just switch over to anything with Chaurtrese, vibrations ...more and darker colors
