    Got this 38" about 40lb fatty at the end of the pier in Port LaVaca next to the causeway. Penn pursuit 3000 spooled with 30lb PowerPro braid 6'6" vintage ...more Abu Garcia four star light action rod. Wind about 10 mph blowing from the south east. A solid 15 minutes fight on my trout rig. What a HOG!! Fish on friends and tight lines!!! May your fish always be bigger than the holes in your net!!

    Got this 41 1/2" at the end of the pier in Port LaVaca next to the causeway. Penn pursuit 3000 spooled with 30lb PowerPro braid 6'6" vintage Abu Garcia ...more four star light action rod. Wind about 10 mph blowing from the south east. It put up a great fight. Fish on friends and tight lines!!!

    25" speckled trout. Lots of sand trout also. At the port. But man the mosquitoes were horrible!!

    33" the best red I've caught in the lake. Had a blast!! But damn was it crowded!! Had to hold it in the water for a little while and it finally swam off.
