Got this 38" about 40lb fatty at the end of the pier in Port LaVaca next to the causeway. Penn pursuit 3000 spooled with 30lb PowerPro braid 6'6" vintage Abu Garcia four star light action rod. Wind about 10 mph blowing from the south east. A solid 15 minutes fight on my trout rig. What a HOG!! Fish on friends and tight lines!!! May your fish always be bigger than the holes in your net!!
