Plus the ride kayak hold so much more than any other and are easy to stand in
    8. AllWaterLife 0
I have a 12.5' yak and I'm 5'8" if that helps any. I could handle a little more if I wanted to. I think the Ride kayaks are the best for small people. ...more Made by Wilderness systems. Ride 135 is nice.

      Perception sport 12.0 pescador.

      Ride 115 is the best

what you gonna be fishing? 12ft is a good yak length easy to carry by yourself and holds a good amount of weight

  6. Details: Golden Rainbow Trout with a ??

Going fishing for stocked rainbow trout. Which should i throw mostly? I got them all from my great grandpa. Just dont know which ones to throw more and that stuff. ...more He also gave me like 40 crankbaits.

    1. Lucas30 0
      Oh ok thanks guys
    2. kenny kenny 0
Dont leave out the lil cleos! Any spoons with small trebles like that I use, I take off the trebles and replace with gamakatsu siwash singles. I find I land more ...more fish than with those tiny trebles
    3. Tommy3Fingerz 0
Pitch the cast master for sure.
    4. Lucas30 0
      Ok thanks.
    5. redfish8 0

Ok @colby12 i will try them out next time i go this weekend
    3. Colby Teall 0
      Kast masters
    4. fishwizard52 0
@Lucas30 I've done alright on Kastmasters and the smaller Rapalas like @pgondella said. Spinners are great too but make sure you're covering different depths ...more to find the fish. Hope this helps!
    5. Lucas30 0
I caught one off of garlic power bait but the bite is slow
    6. Lucas30 0
Ok il try that out @Mako369
    7. Mako369 0
I would use a small golden spoon, the light flashes will attract the fish.
    8. Lucas30 0
Thanks @pgondella I am trying to learn to fly fish. I think Im going up to the kern river on spring break to take fly fishin lessons.
    9. King_Fisher 0
@Lucas30 also you should learn to fly fish if you ever have the chance a trout caught on a fly is always a more respected fish in my book good luck!
    10. King_Fisher 0
I recommend small Rapala crank baits like the original but in murky water I recommend spinners. Also it never hurts to fly like small nymphs at them.
    11. Lucas30 0
reeled them slow and gave them a couple tugs every few seconds
    12. Lucas30 0
      Like i kinda just
    13. TennesseeTroutboy 0
How did you use the spinners?

  9. Details: Other Freshwater with a money

Is this good line? Any reviews or recommended line? Plus will this line work good for throwing crankbaits? Thanks

      Ok

      for my spinning reels
    4. Jake Pedersen 0
      love this line!
    5. Lucas30 0
Oh. Thanks guys for opinions. Im gonna try this new line. Hopefully it casts half way descent.
    6. fishwizard52 0
@Lucas30 I used to have 55# EZBraid on a baitcaster and didn't like it at all. Multiple knot failures, fraying, color fading/rub-off and not round at all. Go ...more for PP Super Slick or Invisibraid.
    7. Chuck LaBruna 0
As I said above, I personally love Spiderwire Stealth and Sufix 832. Wanna have some fun? Try light tackle and 6lb braid for Smallmouths. Makes the already-great ...more fight MUCH better!
    8. Christian Holyoak 0
Get some power pro for only $3-4 more
    9. Christian Holyoak 0
I hated the EZ Braid! Super F-L-A-T. Super loud, bad caster, color rubs off on fingers super easily too
    10. Lucas30 0
      Ok thanks guys
    11. crankbaitbasser1 0
Not a fan of Spider wire go with power pro
    12. osiis 0
Also, I use mono backing and at least 50 yards of braid depending on what species I'm fishing for. I use backing cuz braid isn't inexpensive to me.
    13. osiis 0
Just like reel brands, it's mainly personal preference. I use Power Pro just because it was the first braid I tried and it hasn't given me a reason yet to ...more try another brand.
    14. No! Its so greasy and does not cast!
    15. Chuck LaBruna 0
@AnaheimBayAnarchy I have used Super Slick before. Will agree that it does cast great, I guess it just boils down to preference really. And you are correct, no braid ...more is always bad braid LOL 😉
    16. AnaheimBayAnarchy 0
no braid is bad braid of course
    17. AnaheimBayAnarchy 0
use super slick of either of the two brands I mentioned and you will see the difference. @wyldechylde77
    18. Chuck LaBruna 0
...and both have performed perfectly. No problems casting, no fraying (for the most part), great knot strength. But to each his own, you know? Certainly no problem ...more with Super Slick or P-Line 😉
    19. Chuck LaBruna 0
@AnaheimBayAnarchy You must have had a bad package or something, I've used Spiderwire and Sufix 832 for years now, and I've never had an issue with Spiderwire. ...more I use the Stealth and Invisi-Braid....
    20. Lucas30 0
Ok thanks guys. Gonna put this line to the test. Gonna go fish this weekend. Or hopefully. Haha.
    21. AnaheimBayAnarchy 0
super slick spectra is the best line of braid. its a heck of a lot smoother. I'd honestly say, spirewire is the worst. all I fish is braid. power pro super slick. ...more or p line spectrex!
    22. Collin Collin 0
I've had some experience with this line and it's rather good. This line should last you at least a solid year of heavy use and will keep going. @LucasCooper
    23. Lucas30 0
      Oh. Ok thanks
    24. nick_stole 0
I recommend suffix 832 line, it's extremely tough thin line(I just bought some and it's 20 lbs test but 6 lbs mono equivalent)
