  @Lucas30 I've done alright on Kastmasters and the smaller Rapalas like @pgondella said. Spinners are great too but make sure you're covering different depths ...more to find the fish. Hope this helps!

  I would use a small golden spoon, the light flashes will attract the fish.

  Thanks @pgondella I am trying to learn to fly fish. I think Im going up to the kern river on spring break to take fly fishin lessons.

  @Lucas30 also you should learn to fly fish if you ever have the chance a trout caught on a fly is always a more respected fish in my book good luck!

  I recommend small Rapala crank baits like the original but in murky water I recommend spinners. Also it never hurts to fly like small nymphs at them.
