Is this good line? Any reviews or recommended line? Plus will this line work good for throwing crankbaits? Thanks

@Lucas30 I used to have 55# EZBraid on a baitcaster and didn't like it at all. Multiple knot failures, fraying, color fading/rub-off and not round at all. Go ...more for PP Super Slick or Invisibraid.

As I said above, I personally love Spiderwire Stealth and Sufix 832. Wanna have some fun? Try light tackle and 6lb braid for Smallmouths. Makes the already-great ...more fight MUCH better!

Get some power pro for only $3-4 more

I hated the EZ Braid! Super F-L-A-T. Super loud, bad caster, color rubs off on fingers super easily too

      Ok thanks guys

Not a fan of Spider wire go with power pro

Also, I use mono backing and at least 50 yards of braid depending on what species I'm fishing for. I use backing cuz braid isn't inexpensive to me.

Just like reel brands, it's mainly personal preference. I use Power Pro just because it was the first braid I tried and it hasn't given me a reason yet to ...more try another brand.
    14. No! Its so greasy and does not cast!

@AnaheimBayAnarchy I have used Super Slick before. Will agree that it does cast great, I guess it just boils down to preference really. And you are correct, no braid ...more is always bad braid LOL 😉
    16. AnaheimBayAnarchy 0
no braid is bad braid of course

use super slick of either of the two brands I mentioned and you will see the difference. @wyldechylde77

...and both have performed perfectly. No problems casting, no fraying (for the most part), great knot strength. But to each his own, you know? Certainly no problem ...more with Super Slick or P-Line 😉

@AnaheimBayAnarchy You must have had a bad package or something, I've used Spiderwire and Sufix 832 for years now, and I've never had an issue with Spiderwire. ...more I use the Stealth and Invisi-Braid....

Ok thanks guys. Gonna put this line to the test. Gonna go fish this weekend. Or hopefully. Haha.

super slick spectra is the best line of braid. its a heck of a lot smoother. I'd honestly say, spirewire is the worst. all I fish is braid. power pro super slick. ...more or p line spectrex!

I've had some experience with this line and it's rather good. This line should last you at least a solid year of heavy use and will keep going. @LucasCooper

      Oh. Ok thanks

I recommend suffix 832 line, it's extremely tough thin line(I just bought some and it's 20 lbs test but 6 lbs mono equivalent)
