      That's the way to do it! I never waste a fish, I even keep the heads and guts for crab traps.

      The only real way to tell is to count the spines on the anal fin. The state record channel is 36lbs...blues get over 100. I think we should assume you're ...more the new record holder!!! Scout on.

      You can probably try some silver or gold spoons if you want. But mostly use shrimp. Shrimp will work the best, dead or alive.

      Lure wise I would recommend D.O.A. Shrimp under a popping cork which you can buy both in one pack at academy for like 7 bucks.... Your not gonna catch any flounder ...more most likely since the run is over!
