Dad thought he was stuck on the bottom. Reeled in a few more and the fish took off...crazy spool lol 35lb+

  @Beastin I know that we don't have that many blues, if any, in lake Austin and that we do have a lot of channels. I'll say that one might be a new record ...more but I'm no expert

  The only real way to tell is to count the spines on the anal fin. The state record channel is 36lbs...blues get over 100. I think we should assume you're ...more the new record holder!!! Scout on.
