Threw out a couple times along some rugged terrain under the water. Had it sitting there with the drag fairly loose, started walking up stairs and heard the drag ...more start screaming. I ran down, grabbed the pole, and set the hook on my first black drum. It's a little one but it's another species under the belt.

My brother caught a few shad off the dock with a cast net. We cut em up and threw out expecting hard heads but hoping for a red, and sure enough we slam 2 slot reds! ...more Let the bait sink to bottom and let the spool loose felt a couple hits then nothing. After another 20 seconds or so my line just took off so I locked the spool up and sunk it like there was no tom. These fish put up an awesome fight!
