My brother caught a few shad off the dock with a cast net. We cut em up and threw out expecting hard heads but hoping for a red, and sure enough we slam 2 slot reds! Let the bait sink to bottom and let the spool loose felt a couple hits then nothing. After another 20 seconds or so my line just took off so I locked the spool up and sunk it like there was no tom. These fish put up an awesome fight!
