    came home to 2 new lews rod and reels and a new pair of costas! headed out to the south jetty. not much water movement on the protected side, caught nothing so we ...more went to the other side and caught a flounder some trout and 2 reds. not the greatest day but still fun. Pretty flat out there!! the water was stilled all out of sinc though.. tight lines.

      Texas rig them on a wide gap worm hook and fish them like a jerk bait give them a jerk let pause very your retrieve (how long your pause is how quick your jerks ...more are) and keep varying every few casts.

    shark fishing and bullred fishing at the jetties yesterday and thought u was hung and about to snap my line but I pulled him in slowely. he was killed and cut up ...more for bait next time.. also caught some flounder,bunch of sand trout and specs. had 2 nice reds on gulp chartreus tail shrimp but broke off. SE winds @ 10mph. south jetty

      @ChanceHuiet it's muddied up but looks a lot better on the non-channel sides of the jetty. I'd say 6-8" visibility which is better than the chocolate ...more milk look in the rest of the bay!

      @ChanceHuiet real good! it was really smooth going out at 7:30,if yiu don't have a big boat leave early and don't get caught in the swells coming back.

    I saw a tail moving in the water so I casted my lure out near it and WHAM! he hammered it! about 5moniyes into the fight she managed to snap my pole and break the ...more hook but I still was able to land the fish. took a few pics and released her back where she came from.
