      You can also take a wiry piece of line like heavy mono and put it through the worm and the eye of the hook. It stays in place really well.

      VMC hooks have a rubber insert under the hook eye which works for me

      I'll have to try that for wacky worms it's common to use O rings or zip ties

      Live worms and small grubs and sometimes hot dogs. But I've been known to catch some big blue gill on Cheerios so that might work too
