  2. Should I get this one in medium or medium heavy? For texas rigged soft plastics

    1. MusicCityBass 0
Ive never used any of them but i would probably get a MH no matter which one you get
    2. bassfishingtexas 0
      Or a Duckett? @MusicCityBass
    3. bassfishingtexas 0
Or should I get an Abu Garcia Veracity? It's MH @MusicCityBass
    4. MusicCityBass 0
I would get a MH because for $180 you'll want it to be pretty versitile
    5. bassfishingtexas 0
Well not really, it's a small golf course pond and doesn't have any cover.. @King_Fisher
    6. King_Fisher 0
Mh because you will probably be fishing heavier cover with soft plastics.
    7. King_Fisher 0
      MH me cause you
    8. bassfishingtexas 0

  5. Going to be throwing this jig in the winter. Anyone know what line I should throw with it?

    1. ATLlakemaster98 0
As long as there are small baitfish a jerkbait will work
    2. bassfishingtexas 0
      jerkbaits @ATLlakemaster98
    3. bassfishingtexas 0
Well I would but there is no Shad in the pond and my buddy says they haven't been biting in
    4. ATLlakemaster98 0
      Get a megabass jerkbait
    5. TennesseeTroutboy 0
Jerk. I know that sounds like a lot but if you don't do it slow you're wasting your time
    6. TennesseeTroutboy 0
No like a Rapala Husky Jerk or a Smithwick Jerkbait, I'll tag you in a picture of one. When you get one make sure it's suspending. Also every time you cast ...more it make sure you wait 30-60secs between each
    7. bassfishingtexas 0
      Like a fluke? @TennesseeTroutboy
    8. TennesseeTroutboy 0
You could fish Jerkbaits to get a reaction bite
    9. bassfishingtexas 0
      Cool thanks! @ARKfishing33
    10. Jackson OShea 0
      Ok then go with 15
    11. bassfishingtexas 0
Thanks! @Mason_Cizek. Well im going to be fishing golf course ponds and there is almost no places where I could get hung up. @ARKfishing33
    12. Jackson OShea 0
12-20 depending on how heavy the cover is
    13. Mason Cizek 0
      15-17 would work good!
    14. bassfishingtexas 0
      Alright! And the weight? @Mason_Cizek

    2. benski7 0

    3. corey 0
it all matters how much that swim bait weighs @bassfishingtexas
    4. aggiefisherman45 0
      That's a bad idea
    5. bassfishingtexas 0
      Medium Heavy or Medium? @benski7
    6. benski7 0

    7. bassfishingtexas 0

    8. georgemckee 0

Anyone know what line should I throw with this bait? Im going after 1-5 pound Largemouth Bass in golf course ponds.

    1. Coronado 0
power pro 30# 150 yard academy. 10 $ or wally world. first put a layer of cheap line than the braid. if u want low viability you can use a floro leader 15- 30# with ...more a uni to uni not. youtube it.
    2. bassfishingtexas 0
Ok I will try and find some braid but since I'm fishin a golf course pond there is almost nothing I can get stuck with that's not the mouth of a bass :). ...more I will try and find some braid though @Coronado
    3. Coronado 0
30 pound braid. i have one and wouldnt want to lose it. they wont see the line. always expect a big fish. also lets say you get tangle on a cast it could snap the ...more line and go sailing.swimbaits=braid

  9. Details: Largemouth Bass

So im thinking of buying this bait. Does anyone know if I should get this one? Or if I should get the regular 6 inch?

    1. Jacob DeRamus 0
Like @FISH_FEST said, it all depends on where you fish. If the bass you fish for are generally more aggressive in your lake, buy the 68. If they're more skittish, ...more go with the regular 6"
    2. Collin Collin 0
It's all up to where you fish. If you've got a top of big local ponds or midsized lakes full of shad then it will kill the chunks with enough effort and ...more time
    3. Peyton Dalatri 0
Go with the 68 no doubt
