1. Details: Steelhead Trout

Would this fish be considered a steelhead or would it still be considered a rainbow?????

    1. Robert Keep 0
Except of course for the coloration on the inside of their mouths. I believe it is the Steelhead who has the greyish color while the Rainbows typically have a white ...more mouth.
    2. Chuck LaBruna 0
@peacock_bass_pro They most certainly do. That is a male fish above, both rainbows and steelhead males look the same while spawning. Keep in mind, rainbows and steelhead ...more are the same fish
    3. peacock_bass_pro 0
Steel head rainbows don't shave that same type of head
    4. Chuck LaBruna 0
Oncorhynchus mykiss (sorry for the broken replies, this stupid typing bug is a pain)
    5. Chuck LaBruna 0
If it's a migratory fish, it's a Steelhead. If it was born and lived in the river, it's a Rainbow.same fish either way, O
    6. Chuck LaBruna 0
It depends. Is it a migratory fish from the Great Lakes that comes and goes annually? Or is it in the river/creek it entire life?
    7. Jackson Jackson 0
Id consider that a Steelie, and a nice lookin one at that, good catch!

  6. Details: Inshore Slam (trout/flounder/redfish) with a New fishin setup for spring break

Abu garcia veritas 2.0 spinning rod or duckett ghost spinning rod

    1. Christian Holyoak 0
I have both too. Definitely go with the Duckett. All around better rod. Every Veritas I've owned has been defective and the guides are crap. I have nothing bad ...more to say about the ghost.
    2. whitebass_81 0
      Duckett
    3. Peyton Dalatri 0
But my veritas has been through a lot i still like it just The duckett is more comfortable
    4. Peyton Dalatri 0
Honestly go with the duckett. I used to love my veritas but its starting to feel uncomfortable and some of the guides are getting loose.
    5. Lunk_Lifestyle 0
      But ghost spinner isn't great
    6. Lunk_Lifestyle 0

Be a bit in the stuff side. But, I LOVE both of those rods they are good rods, you won't go wrong either way I don't think
    11. jason felter 0
I have both of those rods so It really depends on what you will be using it for. I feel like the ducket rods all have a lot of give in them aka not A ton of backbone ...more , but I think the Abu tends to
    12. anonymous18 0
