    Details: Red (redfish) Drum

    Hooked this one on good ole faithful dead shrimp on carolina rig #3 circle hook. Tried live mullet under popping cork but no takers. Messed around in the marsh throwing ...more red and white tail Chickenboy with no takers. 22 incher. I'll take it any day, better than a skunk. Caught on outgoing tide. Upon arrival was a better than average high tide.

      Left the seawall at 9 pm and didn't get home til 12:30 am. Took one hr from Moody Gardens to the freeway. Traffic was horrible! @ReelGame

    Surf is nice and flat. Winds seem to be blowing NE at about 10 - 15 mph. Got some crab soaking out there while throwing top waters and lures. Take care guys!

    Came to Kemah to eat with my ole lady for lunch. Water is super high out here. Water is hitting the bridge at the Seabrook ponds. Got to be good red fishing in westbay ...more marshes. I'll be out there tomorrow morning. Great high tide. Good luck fellas and enjoy ur weekend!

    Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Fresh dead shrimp.

    She hit during a very good high tide with winds blowing east at about 17 to 20 mph. Water clear with 2.5 ft visibility possibly 3 ft. When all else fails good ole ...more dead shrimp never lets u down..lol. Flounder was given to my son by a fellow angler. He said he didn't like it. Weird but it'll work for me. Caught about 5 stingrays today as well. Kids and the wifey had fun!

      It was bad in the afternoon. Surf was tall but not too rough. Trout were staying despite the conditions though because the water was fairly green.

    Details: Red (redfish) Drum with a Live shrimp, dead shrimp, mirror lure.

    Fishing westbay last night and came up with these. Day fishing was real slow at SLP. Posted up at one of the subdivisions and as the sun went down the first 10 min ...more hit a 22 inch red. Next almost the same size speck in the lights. Last red was 20 and hit dead shrimp. 15 to 20 mph winds from SW water green and vis about 2 ft. Just fried em up with some jambalaya rice. mmmmmm mmmmmmmm good.

      Get you a doa shrimp in the near clear color. Popping Trout cannot resist! It's really light so they can just slurp it up. Near clear is the only way to go.
