    I definitely miss the saltwater up at school, but I'll bass if I gotta. 8lb test little ponds working the frog down the bank. Waters warming. Fish getting ready ...more to spawn. Shad are everywhere. And I don't really care for this freshwater thing still.

    Details: Hog Fish with a Riffe metaltech

    Getting hogs the ole fashion way, spearing em. Went on a commercial trip and shot countless, they're still very plentiful after all the people hook and lining ...more them. Started in about 65 feet of water but the better numbers were in 35 ft of water. Temp hanging around 61 Which is no bueno but it helps bringing out hot water and dumping it down your wetsuit, before jumping in.

    Limiting out has never been a problem for me in big key but it's never been as easy as it was this year. The size on the second day ( not pictured) was unbelievable.

    4/0 pen senators 60 lb test mono with 100 lb leader drag absolutely locked tight inshore gags are a different breed of strong. Circle hooks recommended. Have the ...more clicker on and free spool the bait with 6 oz lead atleast. Have to horse them in.
