1. Details: Red (redfish) Drum

Taking advantage of the good tides around the new moon, snook have been the story...all over the flats and very eager to hit artificials. This red was sight fished ...more out of a small school that I drifted into. I didn't want to paddle back and risk spooking them so I tossed the 'dine past the school and watched this guy rise up and inhale it. 25", fat

Went out for a quick AM sesh on the Pine west of Alma. Lots of these pike between 18-25", lots of fun. They were ambushing the spoon along weedlines and lily ...more pads in 2-5fow. Good fun, had two really small largemouths as well, pretty River, good day!

      Cool pic

My little guy wanted in on the smallie action, so I hooked him up with a worm and had him cast onto a submerged log and bam, this 17" chunk inhaled it! He fought ...more it like a pro, the ugly stik was doubled over, he had to back up to keep it from diving under the log. Not bad for his first smallmouth! We have a new smallmouth fan!

Another awesome day at this creek, an amazingly productive/under fished River up here. This is full of these chunks, nice pike also. I caught this guy slithering ...more the craw over a log, he popped it on the drop over the other side. I've caught roughly a half dozen chunks off of the same log the past 3 days and several little ones. Fun place!

      I have that hat
  5. Details: Smallmouth Bass

Started to get hot so I switched to the craw and had several 14-16" fish take it along the drop off. This guy hit it as u dragged it over a log midstream, awesome ...more hit, almost like a topwater. He measured at 17.75", the biggest I've caught in this stream. Great two days so far, still bank fishing only, canoe tomorrow..

Pretty smallmouth from the creek, casting into the shadows of the trees along the bank in 2-6ft. Strong fighters, love these smallies!

Nice catch!.. Best place to catch them along the bank. I always at least get a good hit first cast
  7. Details: Smallmouth Bass

Another pretty creek fish, the square bill was the key today, casting along drop offs on the creek edge, 2-6ft, some rocks, fallen trees. Awesome little creek full ...more of these scrappy pretty smallies!

Ugh you always come on the worst weeks. I missed out on a whole paycheck so I'm broke. I don't think I'll have enough gas to get out there.

Picking up where we left off last year up here, slaying smallies and my fishing buddy was chasing frogs. Good AM of smallmouth action with a few pike mixed in. One ...more pike was 24" the other two were tiny, good start to the up north trip!

  9. Details: Smallmouth Bass

At the creek and the action was hot, nice chunks 14-17". Had good action on the senko, but the KVD really produced better size fish. Casting upstream along ...more a drop off on the outside of a bend in the creek. 2-6ft with some fallen trees and ledges, water is low and clearer than usual.

  10. Details: Smallmouth Bass

Last day of chasing smallies at the creek. I found better numbers and size just focusing on flipping the senko into logjams and blowdowns on steep banks/deep holes ...more with hard gravel or rocky bottoms. I would slowly work every nook and both sides of logs and get several hits on each. Hard fighting fish for sure, I used the collage to show how uniquely colored these fish are, each one was different.

      Thanks! @BIGsmallie
