    Well, not to sure what kind of fish this is, any help would be appreciated lol. I initially thought it was a buffalo, but mouth seems way too big. Anyways, it was ...more 75*, 9mph wind, sunny. I caught him on a Squarebill I customized for optimal badassness. Well it worked because it landed this hoss, awesome fight!

    Details: Largemouth Bass with a jerkbait

    Another bass with similar black markings and some battle wounds, I'm guessing a run in with a turtle or snake? He was slightly more aggressive than the others ...more I caught for being smallest of the bunch. 75*, partly cloudy, 11am.

    My class got cancelled so I hit the local pond and caught this guy at about 11:00am partly cloudy, 75* (gorgeous day!) real question is why does he have these spots? ...more I caught 3 others all with similar markings. I assume it has something to do with the spawn...bruising maybe?

      @that_bass_tho I could see that as a possibility, there is a drain that deposits runoff from the nearby golf course. Maybe trash and filth from people as well...

    My dad's pig, he put up a good fight and was really fun to watch! Bass weighed 5.2

      @PKfisherman I wish I we were wrong lol! but our digital scale read 5.2. It just looks bigger bc he's holding it closer to the cam.

    It was a crazy day with high winds and a slow bite. But we managed to pull a couple good size bass out today.

    Temp around 40, slight wind out of the north and sunny. Decided to try a spinnerbait just for grins. Sure enough, second cast and fish on. Broke my spell of being ...more skunked the past 3 outings.
