Fenwick HMX ultra light 6' rod with 6lb mono. Fleuger reel.

    Great day of trout fishing at the local lake. The bite was on as soon as I dropped in my Powerbait. Caught a few within the hour, then the wind picked up, cold and ...more breezy, started to rain. Fenwick HMG 6' medium fast with Fleuger spinning , stren 6lb mono. Powerbait and Berkley gulp salmon eggs on small treble hook.

    No fishing...just enjoying a float on my fishing kayak on the Feather River. Salmon were jumpin all over. Can't complain about a 90 degree day in NorCal ☺️

      @seaturtles, I agree. I catch and release when they are dark like that. My husband and I are planning a trip to Fort Bragg next year. Pacific salmon are tasty! Alaska ...more is on the bucket list lol

    A wonderful day on the river ....so excited to get my first salmon off the bank . The temperature outside was 90, caught in 30' FOW. Using Fenwick medium heavy ...more with 25 lb braided line and Flueger Arbor reel.
