1. How big do y'all think this bass was? (Inches, Pounds) I caught it a while ago and didn't measure it. Thanks!

Largemouth Bass with a Please reply!

    1. Case Keatley 0
I think @mharris is probably the closest here. It was a very skinny fish but boy was it long
    2. mharris 0
Little over a pound and probably 35 inches
    3. zachwright2 0
I'd say about 3.5 and about 18 inches
    4. drew_s_9 0

      Ok big thanks! @fishON423 @xgr82bstr8x
    2. sparksalittle 0
      @xgr82bstr8x alright
    3. gr82bstr8 0
@sparksalittle I've caught mostly shad, small Spanish mackerel, & mullet
    4. gr82bstr8 0
      @whitebass_05 @fishON423 of a sabiki rig but it's effective
    5. gr82bstr8 0
@whitebass_05 @fishON423 the sabiki rigs I've used usually have 5 or 6 hooks/paper flies or shrimp. Look through my blerts to see one with several shad on the ...more rig at once. I usually get a days use out
    6. sparksalittle 0
@xgr82bstr8x @fishON423 what kind of bait can you catch in saltwater, and what size?
    7. Josh Parker 0
You can catch multiple bait fish on each drop... just make sure when u store it you don't get it tangled.
    8. Josh Parker 0
sabiki rigs are AWESOME! They have about 20 hooks on them with colorful/reflective "flies" on each hook. you put a big weight on the bottom swivel n bounce ...more it of the bottom. like @xgr82bstr8x said
    9. whitebass_81 0
Whats a sabiki rig look like? Always wondered @xgr82bstr8x
    10. gr82bstr8 0
Dude try a sabiki rig if you're on a pier. Has always worked great for me plus you can catch multiple baitfish at once!

    4. dgrabe217 0
Probably a 6'6" ugly stick because they are durable.
    5. Laine Dillard 0
The Berkeley lightning rod is a great rod idk the price but I wouldn't go ugly stick id rather spend a few $ and get something that's decent than get a stick ...more with eyesthereisareasonugly sticksarecheep
    6. Case Keatley 0
Probably throwing crankbaits and live minnow fishing @dgrabe217
    7. dgrabe217 0
Ugly stick is a great rod for under $30. How do you plan on using the reel?
    8. Josh Parker 0
Ugly stick all the way! I fish with the light pro model, love the sensitivity.

Nice! At Calaveras lake here in town we go out to the crappie wall and fish for reds, lots of guys will bring big magnets and steel bars with hooks, to try to snag ...more stuff off the bottom, I've seen
    9. JWelch 0
3 strike kings and 2 Xcaliburs. Awesome haul there!
    10. Calvin Fease 0
Lucky dog! I once pulled up a cast net with almost 20 lures in it. Unfortunately, my friends confiscated all but the Texas-rigs. Haha
