    I think this guy was a Northwestern Pike Minnow (squaw fish), but I could be wrong. He is all muddy in the picture.

      Yes it is a Squaw Fish. Catch them out west on nymphs trout fishing.

    Probably the best fight I have had this year. Same place I was catching them yesterday. Small tributary of the Sacramento River called Cow Creek. One of my favorite ...more fisheries, full of probably my favorite bass to catch.... Those cray cray bronze backs.
