    Just a day out at the lake. Grabbed my brothers ugly stick outta the boat and tied on the only lure that made sense and despite everyones nay saying caught a fish ...more in the middle of a wake infested cove, off of the point.

    Just playing around teaching my daughter to fish and she ended up catching her first fish. Don't know the exact species we just call them squaw fish only thing ...more they are good for is a fun fight.

    Details: Spotted Bass with a Purple sinko w/red hook wacky rig. Fishing man made structures

    Fishing was tough but I managed to land this 4 lb spot.The calm conditions made the bass very leery and less apt to bite. The trick is to be as stealth as possible.
