    Got this guy at 1:30 this morn fishing in about 25ft water from the back of a banked patio boat. Found an area with a very gradual shallow slope out to 10ft deep ...more that quickly dropped to 50ft. To the side of this was a more gradual slope out to 40ft with some old oaks partially submerged. Got it by the oaks

      @dmesenbrink wouldnt know. Ive never seen a pike. Ive come close to landing some bog salmon on my 6wt. I would suggest at least an 8 or 9 wt for pike though. Mainly ...more cause you'll be throwing huge flies

    Indicating at the top of the arm yesterday. Trout were stacked below the first riffle. Black copper johns were the bug of choice

      @King_Fisher that extra length really helps. The rod does all the work. Its especially nice for indicating, which is what this particular rod is designed for

    Details: Spotted Bass with a Jointed #5 shad rap, natural color

    2lb 13oz swinging the shad rap in the current into a big side eddy where a school of fish had a shad ball pinned produced a ton of fish for me yesterday
