    Was looking through my photos and figured I'd post up a picture of my personal best bass. Didn't have a scale at the time but I would say mid 4s for weight. ...more It was on its fall feed and had a huge gut on it.

  4. And that my friends is what I think if Abu Garcia rods haha finally get a bite set the hood snap they are all garbage I love their reels never buy their rods again.

  5. Details: Chain Pickerel with a flip n pitch jig

    Was pitching a jig around this down tree in the water just slowly shaking it because the water temp is 48 and saw my line starting to swim away and set the hook ...more and snagged my personal best pickerel.

    This guy I work with gave me this reel for my salt water set up Abu Garcia Ambassadeur royal cold LE reel it's about 10 years old but seems good to start with

      Honestly man that reel is quite a rare gem... Take extra special care of it... If the drag gets destroyed or gears get destroyed the parts are extinct! If it were ...more me I'd use 20 lb and baby it.

      Bottom line is what would give you the greatest thrill and confidence. ;) all options are good if you are fishing with it soon.

      50 is fine as well perhaps meet in the middle 50 lbs will hold on to a fish no doubt... 20 truly adds the sport and will sharpen your skill and focus in handling ...more a fish with your drag and tactics.30lb

      Yeh I hear you dude they fight hard! I caught one earlier this year and it was the best fight I've had all year. It was a huge pickerel too I've got a blert ...more of it and it wouldn't fit the frame!
