  5. Decided I hadn't fished an evening bite in a while, so I headed over to Peter's lake, which is where I first started kayak fishing, 5 years ago. I sometimes ...more call this place Dinkville, and it didn't disappoint. picked up 3, and lost about 5. Almost all 5 came off, next to the boat, by jumping and throwing the lure. it was weird, the consistancy, and 3 of them did it in about less than 19 minutes time. Oh well, better than the skunking I was given at Arthur, the day before. come to think of it, the only fish, there, came off next to the boat, too! wuh??......

    Largemouth Bass

  6. Been a rough weekend. Stayed local: North Park on Sunday, and Peters Lake, today. Nothing but dinks, in both cases.

Drew that was me who talked to you on Saturday. I think I called you Derek though.
    3. Jim Holland 0
I'm surprised, Frank. I woulda though the spawning would have popped off, by now, up there.
    4. Jim Holland 0
That's right, Mark. I saw Drew's video on that. Almost made me go to Arthur, instead. Drew, your catches are becoming a bad influence! LOL!
    5. Jim Holland 0
Was that you, Drew, that caught that? I remember someone pulling a cow out of there! finding and catching them hasn't normally been bad, just dinks, like you ...more said. THIS time, though, was rough. Got desperate and started pitching a Texas Rigged Senko, and STILL nothing. Barely even saw any baitfish.

I was at Presque Isle on Sunday. I caught a bunch of junk fish (sheepshead), a couple of perch, and only one bass. Bass were definitely post-frontal. I read that ...more bass are staging in PI, but have not begun to spawn
    7. Mark Merlin 0
Jim, give Glade Run a try, nothing real big there yet, caught a 14 and 15 inch last time out there, plus theres Trout.
    8. Mark Merlin 0
Then theres Drew who caught 23 in Saturday in the same location I fished yesterday lol
    9. Jim Holland 0
Yeah, Frank. The wind picked up, and had a hell of a time, maintaining boat position. Mark, I seriously considered going to Arthur, yesterday. Glad I didn't. ...more woulda sucked worse, to drive that far and have the same results. Really having a hard time figuring out what phase they are in. Not seeing any activity to clue me in, otherwise. No beds, very little to no baitfish.
    10. Mark Merlin 0
I was at Moraine Saturday and Monday, caught nothing. Staying local as well for a while.
    11. Frank Yamada 0
